DEVIANT: New Album To Feature Guest Appearance By SCAR SYMMETRY's JONAS KJELLGREN

Singapore-based metallers DEVIANT, who earlier in the year announced the addition of drummer Pete Hunt (ex-DRAGONFORCE, currently in RAZOR OF OCCAM and SAVAGE MESSIAH) to the group's ranks, have issued the following update:

"Over the last week, Swedish producer/engineer Jonas Kjellgren, formerly of CARNAL FORGE fame and currently residing in SCAR SYMMETRY, has completed a blazing guest guitar solo at his notorious Black Lounge Studios for a track off the upcoming full-length album."

Commented vocalist/guitarist MH: "Mr. Kjellgren did a spectacular job on the guitar solo and it oozes so much uncanny similarities to his trademark style in SCAR SYMMETRY. It was surreal to have someone like Jonas be a part of DEVIANT's recording process and we can't wait for you guys to check it out!"

DEVIANT is currently unsigned but the new album will see the light of day in 2009.
